1. Information We Collect

Information you provide

If you contact us for support, we may receive your email address, message content, and any information you choose to include.

Device and app information

We may process basic device and app information needed to operate, improve, and support Remote Control, such as app version, device type, operating system version, product interaction, and diagnostic information.

Local network and TV connection information

Remote Control scans your local Wi‑Fi network to find compatible TVs and streaming devices. The app may store TV connection details such as device name, local network address, service type, and pairing credentials on your device so it can reconnect more easily.

Photos and videos you select

If you use casting features, Remote Control accesses only the photos or videos you select. This access is used to preview, share, or cast the selected media to your TV. We do not use your photo library to build a profile about you.

Purchase information

Premium purchases and subscriptions are processed by Apple through the App Store. We may receive non-sensitive purchase status information needed to unlock premium features, but payment card details are handled by Apple and are not shared with us.

2. How We Use Information

• To discover TVs on your local network and connect the app to your TV.
• To send remote commands, support touchpad input, and enable casting features.
• To remember paired TVs and improve reconnection reliability.
• To provide premium access after a purchase or subscription.
• To respond to support requests and improve app quality.
• To understand app performance, attribution, and reliability where permitted by your device settings.

3. Tracking and Advertising Attribution

Remote Control may ask for App Tracking Transparency permission if we use attribution or advertising measurement that requires your consent under Apple rules. You can allow or deny this permission in iOS. If you deny it, the app will still work, but attribution and measurement may be limited.

4. How We Share Information

We do not sell your personal information. We may share limited information only in these situations:

• With service providers that help us operate, analyze, or support the app.
• With Apple for App Store purchases, subscriptions, refunds, and store operations.
• When required by law, legal process, or to protect rights, safety, and security.
• With your consent or at your direction, such as when you share selected media using system share features.

5. Data Storage and Retention

TV pairing credentials and app preferences may be stored locally on your device. Support emails are retained only as long as needed to respond and maintain support records. We keep other information only for as long as necessary for the purposes described in this policy, unless a longer period is required by law.

6. Your Choices

• You can manage Local Network, Photos, and Tracking permissions in iOS Settings.
• You can remove paired TV information by using app controls that disconnect or forget a TV, or by deleting the app.
• You can cancel subscriptions through your Apple ID subscription settings.
• You can contact us to request access, correction, deletion, or other help with personal information we may hold.

7. Children’s Privacy

Remote Control is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information, contact us and we will take appropriate steps.

8. International Users

If you use Remote Control from outside your country of residence, your information may be processed in countries where Softlian or its service providers operate. We take reasonable steps to protect information according to this policy.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we make changes, we will update the effective date above. Your continued use of Remote Control after changes means you accept the updated policy.
