1. Use of the App

Remote Control helps you discover compatible TVs on your local Wi‑Fi network, pair with supported devices, send remote commands, use touchpad controls, and cast selected media. You may use the app only for lawful purposes and only with devices and networks you own or have permission to access.

2. Compatibility

Remote Control depends on your TV, streaming device, local network, operating system, device permissions, and manufacturer support. We do not guarantee that every TV model, brand, firmware version, or network setup will work with the app.

3. Permissions and Device Access

Some features require permissions such as Local Network access and Photos access. If you deny or disable permissions, some features may not work. You are responsible for managing permissions through your device settings.

4. Premium Features, Purchases, and Subscriptions

Remote Control may offer premium features through subscriptions or one-time purchases. Purchases are processed by Apple through the App Store and are subject to Apple’s payment terms.

• Subscription prices, durations, trials, and renewal terms are shown before purchase.
• Subscriptions automatically renew unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
• You can manage or cancel subscriptions in your Apple ID subscription settings.
• Refund requests are handled by Apple according to App Store policies.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use Remote Control to access, control, interfere with, or disrupt devices you do not own or have permission to use.
• Attempt to reverse engineer, modify, or bypass app restrictions except where allowed by law.
• Use the app in a way that harms Softlian, other users, networks, devices, or services.
• Misrepresent your relationship with Softlian or use the app for unlawful activity.

6. User Content and Media

If you choose photos or videos for casting or sharing, you are responsible for the content you select and for having the rights or permissions needed to use that content. Remote Control does not grant you rights to third-party media.

7. Third-Party Services

The app may interact with Apple services, TV manufacturer protocols, local network services, or device sharing tools. Third-party services are governed by their own terms and policies. Softlian is not responsible for third-party services, devices, firmware, or network behavior.

8. Intellectual Property

Remote Control, including its design, code, branding, text, and visual elements, is owned by Softlian or its licensors. These Terms do not transfer ownership of any Softlian intellectual property to you.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

Remote Control is provided “as is” and “as available.” To the maximum extent permitted by law, Softlian disclaims all warranties, whether express, implied, or statutory, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Softlian will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for loss of data, profits, goodwill, device availability, or network access arising from or related to your use of Remote Control.

11. Changes to the App or Terms

We may update Remote Control, change features, adjust premium offerings, or update these Terms from time to time. When we update these Terms, we will revise the effective date above. Continued use of the app after changes means you accept the updated Terms.

12. Termination

You may stop using Remote Control at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if we believe you violated these Terms, created risk, or used the app unlawfully.

13. Apple App Store Terms

If you downloaded Remote Control from the Apple App Store, Apple is not responsible for the app or its content. Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms and may enforce them against you where applicable.
